I don’t normally write articles based on my own experiences, 
but I felt this story was worth telling to my readers.

About 3 years ago my basement flooded. I had lived in my house
for about 10 years and never had a drop of water in the basement.
Upon examination, I realized I had a sump pit with no pump in it.
Installing a pump took care of the flooding, but there was a
steady stream of water continuously running out of a pipe into
the sump pit. This was the beginning of an ongoing nightmare in
my house. I had various “experts” weigh in on what the problem
was. No one knew where the water was coming from, much less what
to do about it. Over the next 3 years I had sump pumps fail, roots
growing in the pipes, frozen pipes and power failures which required
me to manually bail the water out! It was incredibly stressful and
very expensive. This spring the water flow became very heavy. I
called Chuck at Pro Plumbing Services to assess the situation. He
recommended a heavy duty sump pump but also suggested running a
camera into the pipe to find the source of the water. He was the
first person who took a genuine interest in helping solve my problem
instead of just managing it! Pro Plumbing located the source of the
problem and helped me get the city involved to fix it. For the first
time in years, I don’t have water running into my sump pit! Mike and
Chuck at Pro Plumbing went over and above to help me with a complex
problem. They were thorough, professional, and their expertise resolved
a problem that no one else was able to solve in 3 years. They are truly

after your installation throughout my home in Douglas County to all my

     "During a recent flood at my home, I called Pro Plumbing. Being in a small
town, I have known the owner, Al, and his family for at least 8-10 years, and
have known that they not only reside in, but make it a point to support Douglas
County (which is very important to someone who lives and makes a living here.)
Let me tell you that from the time I called, which was at 2:30 a.m., I had a
plumber, Steve, in front of me within 7 minutes! He not only shut off my water
main (which I am afraid to admit, I had no idea where it was), but physically
called a Flood Response Team on my behalf and had them at my door within 2
hours!
     In all honesty, my insurance company told me that because of the quick
response time and thinking from Pro Plumbing, my disaster could have been far
worse than it was!
     In addition to all of the above, I once again called Pro Plumbing to try
to find out the reason behind the flood. Not only was my service call
reasonably priced, but the problem, which was a water pressure valve, was
corrected that day, and I even got a discount!
     I will never call any other local plumber but Pro Plumbing!
